feel the music of Sharen Wendy Robertson
Hello, my name is Sharen Wendy Robertson. I've been a writer my entire life, and I've always loved to sing. However, I didn't make the leap to singing and songwriting until 2008, after losing my 20 year old son in a car accident. This was when I was thrust, kicking, crying and screaming, into the "grieving parents" club. It was during those early dark days of despair, sorrow and grief that the intense feelings and emotions overflowed from writing into songwriting. I found that words lacked the spiritual depth I found singing a melody. I continue to write, for "writer" is and has always been how I define myself (Sharen Wendy Robertson), However, I'm also a song writer now with three CD's including one dedicated to my son and to help other grieving parents. I use songwriting as a tool in the quest of self-expression. My songs help heal the soul, blanketing our lives and
buffering the grieving process for anyone experiencing a loss, but
especially grieving parents. It's strange to think how utterly removed I was from the sorrow grieving parents endure until I became a grieving parent. I've had to learn the hard way how to empathize and relate to
the never ending longing which is present in
all grieving parents.
Please check out and listen to my songs,
read my bio and check out my creative writing on my blog. You will also find a page dedicated to peace and serenity (qualities our society seems to have forgotten). There is a page dedicated to my late son, a page dedicated to helping grieving parents which offers music for free, and a page for those of you looking for a way to help grieving parents. Please send me a message. I would love to hear from you. Grieving parents especially have a friend in me. May love and the sweet sound of music guide
you on your journey.
